Waiting For the View

music and lyrics by M.Moree 1994

We'd spend half a day in a daze, with not a thought or two
but when that flight is multiplied, it's my ego's rendezvous
I've been so afraid of my mistakes, but now I'm seeing why
without my soul's identity (I.D.) role, I'll smile up to the sky

and I'll wait to scream out something that I want to say
and I'll wait to see that view that sends me on my way

I've been Waiting For the View
but am I here too soon
I've been wasting time to haste the hour, waiting for the view

These crazy thoughts are not begotten from my crazy mind
they just reflect the full effect of thinking in rewind
Sailing flights of stairs through light, I followed them to here
where undermined thoughts are, spirit rots, and life's exit sign is here

and I'll wait to scream out something that I want to say
and I'll wait to see that view that sends me on my way

I've been Waiting For the View
but am I here too soon
I've been wasting time to haste the hour, waiting for the view

I've been waiting, I've been waiting to see that view that sends me on my way
